In conjunction with the National Spring Traffic Safety Campaign to be held from April 6th (Sat) to 15th (Mon), 2024, NEXCO EAST Regional Head Office Regional Head Office (Aoba-ku, Sendai City) will be conducting a spring traffic safety campaign as detailed below in collaboration with relevant organizations such as Expressway police Expressway traffic police units at 16 interchanges (ICs), service areas (SAs), and parking areas (PAs) on expressways under the jurisdiction of the Tohoku Branch.
This campaign aims to achieve "zero" traffic fatalities by distributing flyers and giveaways and encouraging customers to avoid distracted driving, thoroughly maintain and inspect their vehicles, and wear seat belts in all seats.

State of past campaign
NEXCO EAST Group has positioned the period from 2021 to 2025 as "a period to contribute to the achievement of the SDGs and transform toward a new future society", and is carrying out various initiatives.
We believe that the implementation of this Spring Traffic Safety Campaign will contribute to SDGs goals 3 and 17 as business activities that lead to the reduction of casualties due to traffic accidents.
