NEXCO EAST The Hachinohe Management Office (Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture) will restrict all-day two-way traffic on the E4A Hachinohe Expressway ("Hachinohe Road") up and down line from the Jouboji Interchange ("IC") to the Ichinohe IC on Wednesday, August 23 due to renovation work on the aging Nagarebe (Osarube) Bridge.
The renewal work is necessary for the safe and reliable use of Expressway. We will work to minimize inconvenience to our customers, and we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

2. Traffic regulation period
- Saturday, Sunday and public holidays are also regulated all day.
- The traffic regulation period may change depending on the progress of construction.
- Actual traffic conditions may differ due to accidents and weather. Please be sure to check the latest traffic information when you go out.

Observe the speed limit, keep a safe distance from the vehicle in front, and be careful to prevent rear-end collisions.
- All-day lane regulation

Construction will be carried out while securing 2 lanes (1 lane on one side) out of 4 lanes (2 lanes on one side) for both directions.
Four. Construction content
The construction to be announced this time is the floor slab replacement construction. In this work, the concrete floor slabs that have been damaged due to deterioration and the increase in the number of large vehicles will be replaced with new, more durable prestressed concrete slabs. In addition, high-performance floor slab waterproofing will be applied to the waterproof layer to prevent deterioration of the floor slab.

Five. Request when using
- Face-to-face traffic will be restricted throughout the construction section. We do not anticipate traffic jams, but there may be congestion. If you are going to use this section, please try to drive safely and leave with plenty of time to spare.
- Since the lanes and road shoulders are narrow, please observe the speed limit when driving, secure a distance between vehicles, and be careful of rear-end collisions. In addition, lanes will change significantly before and after the restricted section, so please follow the local guidance signs.
- Vehicles for construction work may enter and leave the area around the construction site, so please be careful when traveling ahead.
- During the construction period, we will provide traffic congestion information using LED information boards, provide construction regulation information using road information boards and road signs, and call attention to driving safely. Please check this information before driving and drive safely.

6. Requests when passing special vehicles
Due to this traffic regulation, special vehicles exceeding 3.0 m in width cannot pass. Customers using the service, please take a detour to the surrounding roads.
Also, please note that if you have obtained a special vehicle traffic permit (*) only for Expressway routes, you will also need to obtain a permit for general roads.
- What is special vehicle passage permission?
Based on the Road Law and the Vehicle Restriction Ordinance, this is a permit required for special vehicles that exceed general restrictions (length, weight, vehicle width, etc.) to pass on public roads.
