NEXCO EAST Aomori Management Office (Aomori City, Aomori Prefecture) has deteriorated at the Jinba Bridge located between the E4 Tohoku Expressway Towada Interchange (IC) and Kosaka IC. Due to the construction to replace the reinforced concrete floor slab with a new floor slab, the section of each of the two lanes on the upper and lower lanes will be reduced to one lane each, and the all-day lane regulation will start on Thursday, August 18, and all-day two-way traffic will be concentrated on one side. Regulations will be enforced from Monday, August 29th.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused to our customers, but if you drive on the section, please try to drive more safely and leave with plenty of time.
Renewal work is necessary to use the Expressway safely and securely. We will do our best to minimize the inconvenience to our customers, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

3. 3. Traffic regulation contents

For the floor slab replacement work, the sections of each of the two lanes on the upper and lower lines will be consolidated into one lane, and two-way traffic restrictions will be enforced throughout the day. Before and after the two-way traffic regulation period, we will implement all-day lane regulation for up and down lanes as a preparatory work for switching lanes.

Four. Construction content

Approximately 36 years have passed since the opening of the Jinba Bridge between Towada C and Kosaka IC on the Tohoku Expressway, and fine cracks and salt content when spraying antifreeze agents during the winter season due to repeated wheel loads due to the increase in vehicle size. As a result, the concrete deck has deteriorated and the reinforcing bars have rusted, so it is necessary to carry out drastic anti-aging work.
By replacing the deteriorated existing concrete deck with a new deck, it will be reborn as a safe and comfortable Expressway.

1. The construction section will be restricted to face-to-face traffic throughout the day for approximately 5.4km. We do not anticipate the occurrence of traffic jams, but when using the section, please try to drive safely and go out with plenty of time.
2. Since the driving lane and shoulders are narrow in the two-way traffic restricted section, please observe the regulated speed when driving, secure the inter-vehicle distance, and be careful about rear-end collisions. In addition, the lanes will change significantly before and after the two-way traffic regulation section, so please follow the local information signs.
3. Vehicles for construction work may enter and leave the area around the construction site, so please be careful when traveling ahead.
4. During the construction period, we will provide traffic congestion information using LED information boards, provide construction regulation information using road information boards and road signs, and call attention to driving safely. Please check this information before driving and drive safely.
