As of November 22nd (Thursday), the two-way traffic restrictions that were in place between Nihonmatsu IC and Fukushima Iizaka IC on the E4 Tohoku Expressway due to renovation work on the aging bridge have ended.

6. Future construction schedule

Similar bridge renewal work is scheduled for spring 2019 on the Tohoku Tohoku Expressway in Miyagi Prefecture (between Tsukidate IC and Wakayanagi Kananari IC).
