NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo), in order to make it possible for customers to use expressways safely, securely and comfortably,E49 Ban-Etsu Expressway Niigata Chuo Junction (JCT) and the Aizu-Wakamatsu Interchange (IC), we will carry out nighttime traffic closures for face-to-face sections due to pavement repair work, scraping prevention work, tunnel reinforcement work, etc.

We apologize for the inconvenience to our customers, but this work is necessary to use the Expressway safely and comfortably. We will do our best to minimize the inconvenience to our customers, and we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

Construction overview

Ban-Etsu Expressway repair damaged roads between Yasuda IC and Aizu-Wakamatsu IC on the Banetsu Expressway, take measures to remove concrete chips, reinforce tunnels, and inspect and clean tunnel facilities.

In order to minimize the impact on customers, we will carry out traffic closures during the nighttime on weekdays when traffic is light and carry out construction work intensively and efficiently.

We ask for your understanding and cooperation so that customers can use the Expressway safely and comfortably.
