NEXCO中日本金沢支社（金沢市神野町東、支社長・森島 貴代治もりしま きよじ）、NEXCO中日本名古屋支社（名古屋市中区、支社長・池田 光次いけだ こうじ）およびNEXCO東日本新潟支社（新潟市中央区、支社長・梅木 秀郎うめき ひでお）は、E8北陸自動車道（北陸道）が2024年7月28日に全線開通30周年を迎えることを記念し、特設WEBサイトを開設するとともに、お客さま参加型の写真コンテストやサービスエリア（SA）などで記念イベントを開催しますのでお知らせします。
Establishment of a special website
We will provide regular updates on the history of the Hokuriku Expressway, as well as information on events and campaigns, on a special website.
30th anniversary of the opening of the Hokuriku Expressway logo
We likened the Hokuriku Expressway to a modern-day "Oku no Hosomichi" (The Narrow Road to the Deep North), and created a logo with the motif of the haiku poet Matsuo Basho. We will use this in various promotional materials going forward to promote the 30th anniversary of the opening of the entire Hokuriku Expressway.
Photo contest
We will be holding two photo contests with the aim of discovering the charm of the Hokuriku Expressway and the areas along the route through the photos submitted by everyone, and to supporting the Noto region.

In honor of the haiku poet Matsuo Basho's "Oku no Hosomichi," we are looking for photos of attractive Hokuriku landscapes taken along the Hokuriku Expressway, along with your thoughts on the photos. Not only new photos, but also photos taken since the opening of the Hokuriku Expressway are eligible, so please submit your favorite or memorable photos.

<Noto Smile Photo Exhibition ~Support Noto with your photos~>
In order to support the Noto region, which is currently undergoing recovery and reconstruction following the 2024 Noto Peninsula earthquake, we are soliciting photos of the region's nature, scenery, culture, and townscapes, as well as the smiles of people who live in or have a connection to the region, to spread the appeal of the region. Please apply.

Commemorative events
In commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the opening of the entire Hokuriku Expressway, commemorative events will be held in SA and other places to express our gratitude to local residents and customers who use Expressway.
At the commemorative event, we plan to exhibit the best works in the photo contest and develop events that will please our customers.

We have created a poster to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the opening of the entire Hokuriku Expressway. It features pictures of the abundant nature and famous places along the route, and we will use this poster and other materials to promote the appeal of the areas along the route.
