NEXCO EAST Niigata Regional Head Office (Chuo-ku, Niigata City) will be closed during the Golden Week period. [April 26 2024 (Friday) to May 6, 2020 (Monday): 11 days] We have compiled the traffic situation and would like to inform you of it.
≪Overview of traffic conditions≫
- The average daily traffic volume on representative sections was 99.5% compared to 2023.
- Traffic volume during this period was highest on Out-bound lanes on Friday, May 3rd, and on In-bound lanes on Sunday, May 5th.
- There was one traffic jam of more than 5 km in length, a decrease of three times compared to 2023.
- The largest traffic jam during this period was the E8 Hokuriku Expressway (Out-bound) between Nagaoka JCT and Nakanoshima Mitsuke IC, caused by an accident that occurred on Friday, May 3rd6.7km long on .
