(2) Congestion forecast
During the construction period Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays It is predicted that there will be a maximum of 10km of traffic around the area. Congestion is predicted to occur mainly from 7:00 to 12:00 on Out-bound line and In-bound Please detour to Route 8, change your outing time, or use public transportation.
- During the all-day face-to-face traffic regulation period, during some hours on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, we will adjust the charges as necessary for customers who have detoured to Route 8. Please see Attachment-3 [PDF: 454KB] for details.
Four. Traffic regulation contents
In carrying out the construction, we will implement face-to-face traffic restrictions (up to about 5.5km) throughout the day. Since heavy traffic is expected to occur on both the upper and lower lanes, we will operate in 3 lanes (2 + 1 lanes). In order to change the number of lanes that can be passed according to the busy hours, the road zipper system will switch lane operations in a short time during the hours when traffic is relatively light, both in the early morning and in the afternoon. By changing the direction of securing two lanes according to the time of day when customers are frequently used, we will operate lanes so as to reduce inconvenience to customers.
During the switching time, it may be crowded because it will be temporarily operated in one lane on each side. Please observe the regulated speed and follow the local information signs.
- Please see Attachment-1 [PDF: 882KB] for details on switching lanes using the road zipper system.
Five. Request when using
- Face-to-face traffic will be restricted throughout the construction section for approximately 5.5km. The number of lanes has been reduced from the current two lanes on each side to one lane, and it is predicted that there will be a maximum of 10km of traffic, starting from the construction site. To do.
- During the all-day face-to-face traffic regulation period, during some hours on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, we will adjust the charges as necessary for customers who have detoured to Route 8. Please see Attachment-3 [PDF: 454KB] for details.
- Since the driving lane and shoulders are narrow in the two-way traffic restricted section, please observe the regulated speed when driving, secure the inter-vehicle distance, and be careful about rear-end collisions. In addition, the lanes will change significantly before and after the two-way traffic regulation section, so please follow the local information signs.
- Vehicles for construction work may enter and leave the area around the construction site, so please be careful when traveling ahead.
- During the construction period, we will provide traffic congestion information using LED information boards, provide construction regulation information using road information boards and road signs, and call attention to driving safely. Please check this information before driving and drive safely.

6. Outline of floor slab replacement work
Floor slab replacement work is a work to replace a concrete slab that is damaged due to deterioration or an increase in large vehicles with a new prestressed concrete slab that has higher durability. In addition, high-performance floor slab waterproofing is also implemented on the waterproof layer to prevent deterioration of the concrete floor slab.
Floor slab replacement work (Example of "Hokuriku Expressway Takase Bridge (In-bound line)" carried out in the fall of 2018)
Damage to Sakaehashi and Kaikugawabashi
◇ Efforts to minimize inconvenience to customers due to construction work
Adoption of precast products for the purpose of shortening the construction period and improving quality
- By adopting precast (products manufactured in advance at factories, etc.) PC floor slabs, the construction period is shortened and the regulation period is shortened as much as possible.
