NEXCO EAST Nippon Regional Head Office (Chuo-ku, Niigata City) has been working on the 4-lane construction between Shinanomachi IC and Joetsu JCT (37.5km) on the E18 Joshin-Etsu Expressway and a four-lane the 28.7km corresponding to remain about 20% of the 8.8km 2019, but we have promoted the construction work with the aim of completion of the degree, December 5 (Thursday) four-lane from around 3:00 pm It is expected that the operation can be started. Joshin-Etsu Expressway In the four-lane construction section between Shinanomachi IC and Joetsu JCT (37.5km), four-lane operation will newly start in the following sections.
[1] Between Shinanomachi IC and Myoko Kogen IC (1.9km)
[2] Between Myoko Kogen IC and Nakago IC (2.5km)
[3] Between Nakago IC and Arai PA / SIC (4.4km)
As a result, the Joshin-Etsu Expressway will have four lanes from the Fujioka JCT (Fujioka City, Gunma Prefecture) to the Joetsu JCT (Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture) (approximately 203km).
