NEXCO EAST Niigata Regional Head Office (Chuo-ku, Niigata City) is in Obon period [11 days from Saturday, August 6, 2016 to Tuesday, August 16] We have summarized the locations where traffic congestion is predicted in Niigata Prefecture due to traffic congestion and countermeasures.
1 Request for distributed use
- On Expressway Niigata Prefecture, during the period, Peak 5km or more Is predicting congestion.

2 Initiatives for congestion measures
Regarding congestion countermeasures, we will implement the following measures based on this traffic congestion forecast and past congestion situation. Also, in the past congestion period, small cars were parked in large car parking lots, which caused inconvenience to large car customers, and we plan to secure large car parking.
