NEXCO EAST Murakami Construction Office (Murakami City, Director: Masami Kono) is Nihonkai-Tohoku Expressway Nakajo Interchange (IC)-Arakawa Interchange (IC) (tentative name) We would like to inform you that we will invite the 5th grade elementary school students from the city of Sunai to the "Nihonkai-Tohoku Expressway stretching commemorative tree planting" at the construction site in Sugata, Sunai city. ..

We would like to thank the local people who cooperated with us for about 10 years from design consultation to land acquisition and construction, and we hope that the Nihonkai-Tohoku Expressway will be loved for many years to come. About 40 children of Kikinoki and Elementary School will plant commemorative trees.

More than 35,000 trees are planted between the Nakajima IC and Arakawa IC (tentative name) on the Nihonkai-Tohoku Expressway. These trees are CO 2 In addition to absorbing and fixing water, functioning as a moving space for various creatures, it can be expected to be effective for replacing lost green spaces and improving the landscape.

To maximize the use of the Expressway network, collaborate with areas along the way, and aim for the development of local communities, we are working to hold PR events in collaboration with the local community.
