NEXCO EAST Niigata Regional Head Office (Nishigata City, Nishi-ku, Regional Head Office length: Yoshio Shiraishi) is during Golden Week (GW) [Friday, April 25, 2008-May 6, ( 12 days of (Tue)], Expressway in Niigata Prefecture, we summarized the points that traffic congestion is predicted. GW is expected to be congested due to traffic concentration, but please use it for comfortable travel planning, such as shifting the day and time of use.
1. Congestion prediction
Congestion is predicted to occur on the Joshin-Etsu Expressway during the four consecutive holidays in the latter half of the period.
On Expressway in Niigata Prefecture during Golden Week, Joshin-Etsu Expressway In, a traffic jam of 5 km or more is expected from Saturday, May 3 to Monday, May 5.
