- Toll free charges will be applied to vehicles that flow into each IC in the section before the change before 12:00 on Tuesday, July 31, even if they flow out from the IC exits in the section before the change after 12:00. It also applies if it flows in from Nagaoka IC before 12:00 and flows out Joetsu IC after 12:00. .)

2 Precautions for toll free measures
- Application of toll free measures
The toll-free measures are intended for vehicles that mutually use each IC in the specified section (between the Hokuriku Expressway Yoneyama IC and the Kan-Etsu Expressway Nagaoka IC after the change). If you pass or cross over the relevant section, the toll of the actual section will be charged. (The charge for the free measure section that has passed is not free.)
- Examples where free traffic measures are not applied: Kakizaki IC-Nishiyama IC (after section change), Kashiwazaki IC-Nakanoshima Mitsuke IC, Horinouchi IC-Myoko Kogen IC
- How to pass
[Vehicles equipped with ETC]
Insert the ETC card into the vehicle-mounted device and pass both the entrance and exit through the ETC lane. The toll is displayed at the toll gate, and the toll is also displayed on the ETC use inquiry service, but please be assured that the toll will not be charged.[Vehicles without ETC]
Please take a toll ticket at the entrance IC and hand it to the toll gate staff at the exit IC.- Be sure to take a toll ticket even if you are traveling in a section with toll-free measures.
