　NEXCO東日本宇都宮管理事務所（栃木県鹿沼市）は、E4東北自動車道（宇都宮IC～矢板IC間）に位置する鬼怒川橋（きぬがわばし）の上り線で実施する、高速道路リニューアル工事に伴う上下線の終日通行規制についてお知らせします。今回実施する終日通行規制では、お客さまのご利用が多い朝夕の時間帯において、ロードジッパーシステム^※を活用し、上下線各2車線のいずれかを時間帯に応じて1車線に減少させる車線切替規制を実施します。
　お客さまにはご迷惑をおかけしますが、規制区間内では速度制限を遵守いただき、安全運転をお願いします。
　高速道路リニューアル工事は、高速道路を安全・快適にご利用いただくために必要な工事になりますので、工事へのご理解とご協力をお願いします。

• Please be aware that driving lanes differ between daytime and nighttime, so please obey speed limits and pay attention to the driving lanes.
• As the driving lanes branch off, please continue driving without making any sudden lane changes.
• Please maintain a safe distance as lanes will change.

2. Traffic regulation period

• During the period of traffic restrictions, we ask for your cooperation in easing congestion by taking detours around construction areas and avoiding peak times.
• Restriction times may change depending on weather, work progress, etc.
• Actual traffic conditions may differ from predictions due to accidents or weather conditions, so please check the latest traffic information before departing.
• Traffic congestion is predicted to occur on Out-bound lanes in September, and on In-bound lanes from December to February.

3. Estimated congestion during all-day traffic restrictions (lane switching) (scheduled for July 1, 2024 to November 2024)

　車線切替は1日2回、上下線とも交通量の比較的少ない時間帯に実施しますが、車線切替作業の際には混雑が予想されるため、下図に示す「渋滞予測時間帯」においては、渋滞緩和を図るため、工事区間の迂回やピーク時間帯を避けたご利用にご協力をお願いします。

Four. Requests when passing special vehicles

　今回の工事に伴う規制により、一部の区間^（※1）において車幅3.0mを超える特殊車両は通行できません。ご利用されるお客さまは、周辺道路などへ迂回をお願いします。
　また、特殊車両通行許可^（※2）について、高速道路の経路のみ取得されている場合は、一般道の許可の取得も必要となりますのでご注意ください。

2. What is special vehicle passage permission?
   Based on the Road Law and the Vehicle Restriction Ordinance, this is a permit required for special vehicles that exceed general restrictions (length, weight, vehicle width, etc.) to pass on public roads.

Five. Construction details

The concrete deck of Kinugawa Bridge, which has been damaged by aging and an increase in large vehicles, will be replaced with a new, more durable prestressed concrete deck. In addition, a high-performance waterproofing system will be installed on the waterproof layer to prevent deterioration of the deck.

6. Request when using

1. Traffic congestion is expected in some sections of the construction zone, beginning at the construction site, so please allow plenty of time when travelling.
2. Since the lanes and road shoulders are narrow, please observe the speed limit when driving, secure a distance between vehicles, and be careful of rear-end collisions. In addition, lanes will change significantly before and after the restricted section, so please follow the local guidance signs.
3. Vehicles for construction work may enter and leave the area around the construction site, so please be careful when traveling ahead.
4. During the construction period, we will provide traffic congestion information using LED information boards, provide construction regulation information using road information boards and road signs, and call attention to driving safely. Please check this information before driving and drive safely.
