NEXCO EAST Mito Management Office (Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture) will close the interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC") ramp due to pavement repair work on E50 Higashi-Mito Road.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our customers, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you have plenty of time to spare when you go out.

   Mito Minami IC (eastbound entrance ramp)

   Implementation date: October 30, 2020 (Monday)

   21:00 pm-6: 00 am the next morning

   Preliminary dates: October 31st (Tuesday), November 1st (Wednesday), 2020

   Every day from 21:00 to 6:00 the next morning

   Section III

   Mito Minami IC (westbound entrance ramp)

   Implementation date: November 6th (Monday) and 7th (Tuesday), 2020

   Every day from 21:00 to 6:00 the next morning

   Reserve date: November 8th (Wednesday) to November 10th (Friday), 2020

   Every day from 21:00 to 6:00 the next morning

2. Detour

For detour information, please refer to the attached document [PDF: 261KB].
The detour will increase the travel time, so please allow plenty of time for your trip.

3. Construction overview

Pavement repair work will be carried out at each IC on Higashi-Mito Road due to damage to the road surface. As construction work cannot be carried out with normal lane restrictions, the ramp must be closed before work can be carried out.
Therefore, in order to minimize the inconvenience to customers, the ramp will be closed on weekday nights when traffic is light, and construction will be carried out intensively and efficiently. This work is necessary to ensure safe and comfortable use Expressway, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

Four. How to obtain traffic information

(1) Guidance by distribution / posting

• Notice signs, posters and leaflets will be posted at toll booths and rest facilities nearby.
• A banner will be posted on the overpass on the Expressway.
