NEXCO EAST　Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway The Management Office (Kisarazu City, Chiba Prefecture) will close the road between the Futtsu-Chuo Interchange (hereinafter "IC") on E14 Tateyama Expressway (hereinafter "Tateyama Road") and the Tomiura IC on E14 Futtsu-Tateyama Road (hereinafter "Tomikan Road") during the night for road maintenance work and repair and inspection of road structures.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing extra time for your trip.

    • Rest facilities within the closed section will be closed as follows.
      Tomikan Road Highway Oasis Furari Tomi 20:30 pm to 5:00 the next morning
    • In stormy weather, it will be postponed to the spare day.
    • We will inform you of the implementation decision on Twitter etc. around 17:00 on the day.

2. Detour

Please refer to the attached sheet [PDF: 165KB] for detours.
Due to the detour, the required time will be longer, so please leave with plenty of time.

3. Construction overview

Road maintenance work and repair/inspection of road structures will be conducted at the Futtsu Chuo IC of Tateyama Road to the Tomiura IC of Tomikan Road.
The section where this construction and work will take place is one lane in each direction and cannot be constructed with normal lane restrictions. To minimize inconvenience to customers, the road will be closed at night on weekdays when traffic volume is low, so that the work can be carried out intensively and efficiently.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as this work is necessary for the safe and comfortable use of Expressway.

  • Notice signs, posters and leaflets will be posted at toll booths and rest facilities nearby.
  • A banner will be posted on the overpass on the Expressway.

    The highway radio section is indicated by signs on the Expressway.

    We will inform you of road information in an easy-to-understand manner by the monitor screens installed in SA / PA.
