NEXCO EAST Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway Management Office (Kisarazu City, Chiba Prefecture) and Trans-Tokyo Bay Highway Co. (Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo) announced that CA Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway (hereinafter referred to as “Aqua-Line”) will open on December 18, 2022. In commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the opening of the line, we will hold the "Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway 25th Anniversary Special Day!" . Please stop by Umihotaru PA on Saturday, December 3rd!

⑦ "Umihotaru Workshop" held

We will hold an “Ornament making” and “Batch making” experience session using Sanbusugi from Chiba Prefecture for 50 people under elementary school age each day (morning and afternoon two-part system).
You can participate free of charge by presenting a receipt of 3,000 yen (tax included / total possible) for meals and purchases at Umihotaru PA.

⑧25th Anniversary Fair

At the target stores, we will hold a fair celebrating the 25th anniversary, such as offering special menus, selling lucky bags, and presenting novelty goods. Please check the Umihotaru website for details on the target stores and fair contents.
  • Gifts of novelty goods will end as soon as the number of distributions at each store is reached.

NEXCO EAST and Tokyo Bay Crossing Road Co., Ltd. are making various efforts to contribute to the achievement of SDGs through Expressway projects.
We believe that this year's "Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway 25th Anniversary Special Day!" initiative will contribute to SDGs goals 8 and 17 as business activities that lead to the promotion of a sustainable tourism industry.
