大型車通行適正化に向けた関東地域連絡協議会（以下、「連絡協議会」という。）は、構成する道路管理者が中心となり、関東・甲信エリアにおける警察及び運輸支局の大型車両の走行に関係する3者の連携を深め、過去最大の21箇所で首都圏大規模同時合同取締を実施しましたので、お知らせします。
連絡協議会では、道路の適正かつ安全な利用を促進するために、特に道路構造物を劣化させる主要因である違法な重量超過車両への取組みを強化しています。さらに今回は、近年増加している大型車両の車輪脱落事故防止「お・ち・な・い」（参考資料【PDF：405KB】参照）について運輸支局主導のもと、ドライバーへ呼び掛けを行いました。今後も安全・安心して暮らせる社会の実現を目指し、『重量守り、道路を守ろう』を合言葉に大型車両の通行適正化を推進してまいります。

- Since 2016, this joint crackdown has been carried out as an initiative of the Liaison Council, with the road managers of the 1 metropolitan area and 3 prefectures that make up the association playing a central role in cooperation with the relevant police.
- In the control by the Road Transport Vehicle Law, each vehicle is inspected, so in the case of connected vehicles, the results for each of the "tractor section" and "trailer section" are recorded.
