At the NEXCO EAST Saku Management Office (Saku City, Nagano Prefecture), E18 Joshin-Etsu Expressway (hereinafter "Joshinetsu Expressway") between Matsuida Myogi Interchange (hereinafter "IC") and Saku IC In order to carry out inspection work on the bridge, it will be closed at night.

3. Regarding transit adjustments due to suspension of traffic

For customers who temporarily flow out of the Expressway due to nighttime traffic closures, detour around the closed section, re-enter and transfer in the normal direction, implement "connection adjustment" to adjust the toll according to the section used. How to use transit fare adjustment

<Customers of ETC>

  • For customers using ETC, please run the outflow IC wirelessly and the re-inflow IC wirelessly.
    (The "transit certificate" is not issued for ETC vehicles.)
  • ETC time zone discount will be applied, considering the transited journey as one.
    Toll charges are adjusted at the time of billing, so they may differ from those displayed at the toll gate.
  • Insert the same ETC card for all journeys and pass through the ETC lane at the tollgate.

<Customers such as cash>

  • Customers who pay in cash, etc. should receive the "passenger certificate" at the outflow IC, collect the passport at the re-inflow IC, and first obtain the "passenger certificate" and passport at the toll gate where the fee is paid. Please give me

Precautions regarding transit fare adjustment

If the road closure is lifted after flowing out from the outflow designated IC, the toll will be adjusted even if it is reinflowed from the IC (including the outflow designated IC) in the closed section in the forward direction.

Between Matsuida Myōgi IC and Saku IC on the Joshinetsu Road, we will inspect the structure of the Usui Bridge, reinforce work of the Takaiwayama Tunnel, and inspect the signs on the Expressway.
Since construction cannot be carried out under normal lane restrictions, it is necessary to implement road closures. Therefore, in order to minimize the impact on customers, we will close the road at night on weekdays when there is little traffic volume and implement it intensively and efficiently.
