NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office and Nex-area Company Limited Kanto West Branch (both in Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture) will open the E4 Tohoku Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Tohoku Expressway Expressway") Sano Service Area at 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 13, 4th year of Reiwa. (Hereinafter, "SA") (Out-bound line) will be reopened as "Dramatic Area Sano (Out-bound line)".
≪Point≫
- Sano SA, which is adjacent to the upper and lower lines and can be reached on foot, is regarded as one big "Park", and the concept of "Sano Park SA" is a dramatic area where you can enjoy your time.
- Taking advantage of the good location of Sano SA located on a hill and a large garden, we will create a "rest" space together with commercial facilities to provide customers with a place to rest and rest.
- With the store concept of "exciting, relaxing, and exciting picnic terrace," we provide a consumer experience unique to "Sano Park SA" by providing products and services that make you feel as if you were at a picnic.
This time, as the first step of "Sano Park SA", we will reopen the commercial facilities and toilet building on the Out-bound line in advance.
After the reopening, along with the renewal work of the garden, we plan to set up a cafe store in the garden and open the grand opening. We will inform you about the scheduled date and image of the grand opening.

- "Dramatic area" is a SA / parking area (hereinafter referred to as PA), which is the core of the area. It is SA / PA that directs "Travel Drama".
- Information on "Dramatic Area Sano (Out-bound Line)" will be posted on our website (DraPla) "Dramatic Area Special Site" as appropriate.
Efforts to improve barrier-free and convenience
Barrier free
For comfortable use, we will eliminate the step between the parking lot and the sidewalk, develop a parking lot for people with disabilities in large vehicles, and install a multi-functional toilet in the sub-toilet.
Parking Lot
In consideration of the ease of use and safety of customers, we will install signs that notify the usage status of parking spaces in real time at branch points in the parking lot to guide customers smoothly.
In addition, a bus priority mass will be installed near commercial facilities and toilet buildings.
Regarding barrier-free toilets and parking lots, some of them have been opened in advance before the renewal of commercial facilities.

About change of approach route to use gas station
After using the commercial facilities and toilets, we will change the approach route so that you can use the gas station. Please note that you cannot return to the parking lot after using the gas station.
How to use the smart IC (exit)
Customers using smart ICs (exit) cannot use SA. Also, please note that you cannot use the smart IC (exit) after using SA.
About use from general road
There is no "walk-in gate" (pedestrian entrance) where you can use the service area facilities from the general road.
About construction after reopening
Even after the reopening, we will continue to work on the gardens. We apologize for the inconvenience caused to our customers, but we will proceed with the construction with safety first, so we ask for your continued understanding and cooperation.
