2. Detour
① When using the Kan-Etsu Expressway (In-bound line) from Showa IC to Tokyo
(A) When using from the direction of Mt. Akagi
Pink arrow As shown, go straight on Prefectural Road 65 from "Showa IC" and turn left at the traffic light ① at the end ⇒ turn right at the "Morishita" intersection ⇒ turn left at the first traffic light ② ⇒ turn left at the "Iwamotocho" intersection ⇒ Maebashi on National Road 17 Go straight in the direction ⇒ Turn left at the "Ikuma" intersection ⇒ Follow Prefectural Road 70, cross the Tone River and turn left at the first traffic light ③ ⇒ Go straight and turn right at the Akagi IC entrance ⇒ Inflow to "Akagi IC"
If you make a detour as shown in the figure below, it will take about 22 minutes (usually about 6 minutes).
(B) When using from the direction of National Highway No. 17 (The detour is marked by a green sign)

② When using the Kan-Etsu Expressway (Shibukawa-Ikaho IC) toward Maebashi on In-bound

If you bypass the Shibukawa Ikaho IC as shown in the figure below, it will take about 5 minutes.
3. Construction overview
Kan-Etsu Expressway Showa IC to Tokyo and from the Shibukawa Ikaho IC to the exit ramp toward Maebashi on National Highway No. 17, pavement repair work will be carried out.
Since the section where this work is to be carried out is one lane and cannot be carried out under normal lane regulations, it is necessary to close the lamp and carry out the work. Therefore, in order to avoid inconvenience to customers as much as possible, we will close the lamps on weekday nights when traffic is light and carry out construction intensively and efficiently.
Expressway safely and comfortably, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
