2. Construction overview

Joshinetsu Expressway Upper and Lower Lines Between Saku IC and Komoro IC and Chubu Crossing Saku Komoro JCT will carry out the replacement work of the signboards in order to number them.
Since it is not possible to carry out the work under normal lane regulations when performing the work, it is necessary to work with the main road closed and the lamps closed. Therefore, in order to avoid inconvenience to our customers as much as possible, we will carry out construction work intensively and efficiently by closing roads and closing lamps at night on weekdays when traffic is light.
This work is necessary to use Expressway safely and comfortably. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

3. Detour

Joshin-etsu Expressway Saku IC-Komoro IC Please refer to the figure below for detours when the road is closed.
If you make a detour as shown below, it will take about 19 minutes (normally about 9 minutes).
Detours will increase the time required, so please take time to go out.

• When the Chubu Crossing Saku Komoro JCT is closed after Tuesday, September 29th, it is possible to pass between the Joshinetsu Expressway Saku IC and Komoro IC, but please note that the Chubu Crossing is closed to all lines.

Four. Transfer adjustment

For passengers who leave the Expressway once due to suspension of traffic and closing at night, bypass the section of suspension of traffic and closing at night, and re-enter and transfer in the forward direction, adjust the toll according to the section used. Perform joint adjustment.

How to use transit adjustment

≪ETC customers≫

• Customers using ETC are requested to run the outflow designated IC wirelessly and the re-inflow designated IC wirelessly. (No transit certificate will be issued for ETC vehicles)
• ETC time zone discount will be applied, considering the transited journey as one.
  Toll charges are adjusted at the time of billing, so they may differ from those displayed at the toll gate.
• Insert the same ETC card for all journeys and pass through the ETC lane at the tollgate.

≪Customers such as cash≫

• Customers who pay by cash, etc. should receive the "passage certificate" at the outflow designated IC, and then get the "passport" at the re-inflow designated IC, and then make the "transfer" at the toll booth that pays the fare first. Please give us your "certificate" and "passport".

≪Common to customers such as ETC and cash≫

• If the suspension of traffic is released after the outflow designated IC is released, the fare will be adjusted even if it is re-introduced from the IC (including the outflow designated IC) in the closed road section in the forward direction.
