NEXCO EAST Mito Management Office (Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture) E6 Joban Expressway (hereinafter “Joban Expressway”) E50 We will be closing at night to perform pavement repair work at each lamp of Tomobe Junction (hereinafter "JCT") that flows into the Kita Kita-Kanto Expressway (hereinafter "North Kanto Road").
We apologize for the inconvenience, but thank you for your understanding and cooperation so that you may have some time when you go out.
1 Night closure locations and dates
(1) Night closure: Joban Expressway ・ Tomobe JCT lamps that flow into each other in the northern Kanto Expressway

- Implementation date: May 18th (Mon) to 19th (Tuesday) 2020 each year 21:00 pm to 6:00 am the following day
- Preliminary day: 2020 May 20th (Wednesday) -22nd (Friday) 21:00 pm-6: 00 am the following day
- In stormy weather, it will be postponed to the spare day.
- Construction will be decided on Twitter etc. around 17:00 on the day.
2 Detour

3 Regarding connection adjustment due to closure

◆ How to use transit adjustment
<< ETC customers >>
- Customers using ETC are requested to run the outflow designated IC wirelessly and the re-inflow designated IC wirelessly. (No transit certificate will be issued for ETC vehicles)
- ETC time zone discount will be applied, considering the transited journey as one. Toll charges are adjusted at the time of billing, so they may differ from those displayed at the toll gate.
- Insert the same ETC card for all journeys and pass through the ETC lane at the tollgate.
<< Customers for cash, etc. >>
- Customers who pay by cash, etc. should receive the "passage certificate" at the outflow designated IC, and then get the "passport" at the re-inflow designated IC, and then make the "transfer" at the toll booth that pays the fare first. Please give us your "certificate" and "passport".
4 Construction overview
Joban Expressway ・ North Kanto Road Tomobe JCT will carry out pavement work to repair the damaged road surface and signboard replacement work to carry out numbering of the signboards. Since it is not possible to carry out the work under normal lane regulations when carrying out the work, it is necessary to close the lamp before carrying out the work. Therefore, to avoid inconvenience to our customers as much as possible, we will shut down the lamps during the night on weekdays when traffic is light, and will carry out the work intensively and efficiently.
This work is necessary to use Expressway safely and comfortably. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
5 How to obtain traffic information
(1) Information for closing at night
- We will post posters and leaflets at toll booths and rest facilities nearby.
- A banner will be posted on the overpass on the Expressway.
