NEXCO EAST At the Kazo Management Office (Kazo City, Saitama Prefecture) E4 Tohoku Expressway (hereinafter "Tohoku Expressway") In-bound Line Iwatsuki Interchange (hereinafter "IC") Exit ramp will be used for pavement repair work.

1 Closed place and date
(1) Closed point: Tohoku Expressway In-bound line (from Utsunomiya area) Iwatsuki IC exit ramp

(2) Date and time
Implementation date: Tuesday, March 31, 2020, 22:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Preliminary day: 2020 April 1 (Wednesday) From 22:00 pm to 6:00 the next day

- Construction decision will be announced on Twitter, etc. at 14:00 on the day.
2 Detour
(1) Tohoku Expressway For those coming from the Utsunomiya area

As you can see, get off Kuki IC in the foreground and use prefectural road 3 and national road 122.
If you detour between Kuki IC and Iwatsuki IC as shown in the figure below, it will take about 26 minutes (usually about 12 minutes).
(2) Ken-O Road coming from the Tsukuba area of the Ken-O Expressway

As you can see, get off at Satte IC in front of you and use prefectural road 383, national highway 4 and national highway 16.
If you detour between Satte IC and Iwatsuki IC as shown in the figure below, it will take about 37 minutes (normally about 18 minutes).
(3) Ken-O Road coming from the Tsurugashima area of the Ken-O Expressway

As you can see, get off the Shiraoka Iris IC in front of you and use Route 122.
If you take the detour between Shiraoka Shobu IC and Iwatsuki IC as shown below, it will take about 22 minutes (normally about 14 minutes).
Detours will increase the time required, so please take time to go out.
3 Construction overview
Tohoku Expressway In-bound in the exit ramp of the line Iwatsuki IC, for the deterioration of the pavement is in progress, will be carried out pavement repair work. Since the section where this work is carried out is one lane and it is not possible to carry out the work under normal lane regulations when carrying out the work, it is necessary to close the lamp and work.
Therefore, to avoid inconvenience to our customers as much as possible, we will shut down the lamps during the night on weekdays when traffic is light, and will carry out the work intensively and efficiently.
Since this work is necessary to use the Expressway safely and comfortably, we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
