NEXCO EAST Utsunomiya Administration Office (Kanuma City, Tochigi Prefecture) E4 Tohoku Expressway (hereinafter "Tohoku Expressway") and E50 Kita-Kanto Expressway (“North Kanto Road”) Tochigi Tsuga Junction (“JCT”) lamps will be closed at night to replace the signboards.

◆ How to use transit adjustment
<< ETC customers >>
- Customers using ETC should wirelessly drive outflow designated ICs, and also wirelessly reinflow designated ICs. (Transit certificates are not issued for ETC vehicles.)
- ETC time zone discount will be applied, considering the transited journey as one. Toll charges are adjusted at the time of billing, so they may differ from those displayed at the toll gate.
- Insert the same ETC card for all journeys and pass through the ETC lane at the tollgate.
<< Customers for cash, etc. >>
- Customers who pay by cash, etc. should receive the "passage certificate" at the outflow designated IC, and then get the "passport" at the re-inflow designated IC, and then make the "transfer" at the toll booth that pays the fare first. Please give us your "certificate" and "passport".
4 Construction overview
Tohoku Expressway ・ At the Tochigi Tsuga JCT in Kita-Kanto Expressway, we will carry out a sign board replacement work to number the sign boards. When performing construction work, it is necessary to perform work with the lamps closed because construction is not possible under normal lane regulations. Therefore, to minimize the inconvenience to our customers, we will close the lamps during the nights of weekdays when traffic is low, and implement construction intensively and efficiently.
Since this work is necessary to use the Expressway safely and comfortably, we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

(1) Guidance by distribution / posting- Notice signs and posters will be posted at toll booths and rest facilities in the surrounding area.
