NEXCO EAST Tokyo Outer Ring Construction Office (Nerima Ward, Tokyo), C3 Gaikan Expressway (hereinafter “outer ring road”), the Arakura parking area (hereinafter “Arakura PA”) will be closed and the outside will be closed for the purpose of refreshing construction. We will be closed at night at the exit. During the Niikura PA closure period, you will not be able to enter or exit the Niikura PA, so please use the adjacent rest facility or alternative facility (outside parking lot and temporary toilet).

This work is necessary to maintain a safe and comfortable environment on the Expressway, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

2 About installation of alternative facilities and transfer adjustment during closing period

An alternative facility will be installed during the Niikura PA closure period. The alternative facility flows out from the Wako Kita IC exit inside and outside and can be used via a general road. At that time, if you re-enter the inner and outer Wako Kita IC entrance to the outer ring road within a certain time, the charge will be adjusted to the same as when you used without exiting the Expressway. 4 Adjacent rest facility

5 Construction overview

Deterioration of pavement is progressing due to use over the years. In order for customers to use the Expressway safely and comfortably, we will close the Arakura PA and carry out pavement repair work. Since this work involves "pavement removal, pavement laying, pavement marking", etc. as a series of operations, it is necessary to close the Nikura PA and lamps before performing the work. Therefore, in order to minimize the impact on our customers, we will close the PA all day and carry out construction work in a concentrated and efficient manner. In addition to this closure, we will improve the parking sign information and renovate the toilet.

In addition, the Oizumi JCT is currently under construction work on the Tokyo Outer Ring Road (Kanetsu to Tomei). To carry the earth and sand generated by the tunnel work, the Oizumi JCT on the Gaikan Expressway A belt conveyor is installed on the outer ring main line near the north IC, and the belt conveyor will be installed in the PA in line with the closing of the Niikura PA this time.

Main work contents
