NEXCO EAST Mito Construction Office (Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture), the entrance ramp was closed at night due to the reconstruction (full IC) of the Joban Expressway (“ Joban Expressway”) Mito Kita Smart Interchange (“IC”). to hold. 1 Night closure locations and dates

- Judgment of construction will be made at 16:00 on the day.
2 Detour
Please use Route 123 and Ibaraki Prefectural Route 113 as a detour.
It usually takes about 4 minutes between Mito Kita Smart IC and Mito IC, but if you make a detour, it will take about 15 minutes.

3 construction
Joban Expressway Mito Kita Smart IC, we are proceeding with the remodeling (full IC) construction to enable access to the Iwaki area from the current limited area in Tokyo (half IC). To complete the renovation work, the entrance lamps currently in use must be switched to new entrance lamps, so the entrance lamps in service will be closed. The lamps will be closed on weekdays during the night when traffic is light, and the work will be concentrated and efficient so as not to inconvenience customers as much as possible.
In addition, after the completion of the nighttime construction work this time, a new In-bound line entrance lamp will be used, and the connection position with the general road and the taxiway will be changed (see the figure below).
4 How to obtain traffic information
(1) Information for closing at night
