Chiba Management Office
E14 Keiyo Road Funabashi Interchange (IC) and the Takeishi Interchange (IC), chronic traffic congestion occurs mainly in the morning and evening commuting hours, and we are currently working on countermeasures aimed at alleviating traffic congestion. To carry out this construction, the lanes will be shifted for approximately two years from June 2018, and fixed regulations (temporary guard fences) will be installed on the median strip side, and lane regulations will be implemented at night if necessary. It's a schedule. Also, although additional lanes will be installed on the In-bound line of Keiyo Road, lane restrictions may be enforced on the Out-bound line depending on construction.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you can take time to check the traffic information when you go out.
1 About traffic regulation
(1) Location map
(2) Range and period of traffic regulation
* Construction on the median side will be divided into 5 sections (1) to (5) and the construction will proceed sequentially.
* The period may change depending on the progress.
(3) Traffic regulation type and regulation time
Type of traffic regulation | Regulation time |
---|---|
Fixed regulation (median strip) | All day (24 hours) |
Lane regulation | 20: 00-6: 00 the following day |
- Lane restrictions are not enforced during morning and evening rush hours, during busy periods such as busy seasons, and during stormy weather.
- The type of traffic regulation and the regulation time may change depending on the progress of construction.
(4) Image of traffic regulation
- Be careful when passing because the lane width and shoulder width will be narrow.
- When a construction vehicle goes in or out of the fixed regulations, the rotating lights and hazards will light up and the speed will slow down, so be careful of rear-end collisions.
