<Implementation date>- Section A:

4 Construction overview
We will also conduct inspections of various road facilities such as civil engineering inspection and facility inspection at the same time in the Chuo Joso IC - Shimofusa IC, including repairing damaged road surface and replacing the lane separation mark.
We ask for your understanding and cooperation, as the construction and inspections are necessary for customers to use the Expressway safely and comfortably.
5 Regarding transfer fare adjustment due to suspension of traffic
For passengers who leave the Expressway once due to a nighttime suspension of traffic and bypass the suspension of traffic and transfer to the same direction again, we will make a "transit adjustment" to adjust the toll according to the segment used. ( Attachment-2 [PDF: 413KB] reference)
How to use transit fare adjustment
<ETC customers>- Customers using ETC are requested to run the outflow IC wirelessly and the re-inflow IC wirelessly. (For ETC vehicles, no "transfer certificate" will be issued.)
- ETC time zone discount will be applied, considering the transited journey as one.
Toll charges are adjusted at the time of billing, so they may differ from those displayed at the toll gate.
- Customers who pay in cash, etc. should receive the "transfer certificate" at the outflow IC and then take the "passport" at the re-inflow IC. Toll booth to pay first Please hand over the "transfer certificate" and "passport".
Precautions regarding transit fare adjustment
After cancellation of the suspension of traffic, the transfer fare will be adjusted even if the traffic is immediately reintroduced from the outflow IC.
