2 Detour

3 Construction overview
Kan-Etsu Expressway As the pavement of the Tsurugashima JCT ramp is deteriorating, we will carry out pavement repair work.
This work involves removing the pavement and paving the pavement as a series of operations, so it is not possible to secure a sufficient lane for the vehicle, so it is necessary to close the lamps before performing the work.
Therefore, in order to minimize the impact on customers, we will close the lamps at night when traffic is light, and carry out the work intensively and efficiently.

4 Connection adjustment due to suspension of traffic
For passengers who leave the Expressway once due to a nighttime closure, bypass the closed section, re-enter and transfer in the forward direction, we will make a "transit adjustment" to adjust the toll according to the section used .

How to use transit adjustment
[Customers of ETC]- Customers using ETC are requested to run the outflow IC wirelessly and the re-inflow IC wirelessly. (No transit certificate will be issued for ETC vehicles.)
- ETC time zone discount will be applied, considering the transited journey as one.
Toll charges are adjusted at the time of billing, so they may differ from those displayed at the toll gate.
- Customers who pay in cash, etc. should receive the "passage certificate" at the outflow IC, then collect the passport at the re-inflow IC, and then the "transfer certificate" at the toll gate where the fee is paid first. Please give a pass ticket.
5 How to obtain traffic information
(1) Information for closing at night- Notice signs and posters will be posted at Tsurugashima JCT and the rest facilities around it.
- A banner will be posted on the bridge over the Kan-Etsu Expressway around Tsurugashima JCT.
- On the day of closing at night, a detour sign will be installed at the main intersection of the detour.
