Kanto Regional Liaison Council for the optimization of large vehicle traffic

The Kanto Regional Liaison Council (hereinafter referred to as the "liaison council") for the optimization of large-sized vehicle traffic is led by the road managers who make up the liaison council, and is organized by the police and other organizations in the three prefectures. We would like to inform you that we have Large cooperation and carried out simultaneous three-way joint enforcement under the Road Law, Road Traffic Law, Road Transport Vehicle Law.
The liaison council is strengthening efforts on illegal overweight vehicles, which are the main cause of accelerating the deterioration of road structures. This time, the joint joint of Saitama Prefecture and Kanto Transport Bureau (Tokyo Transport Bureau) newly joined this time. We carried out enforcement. We will continue to promote the optimization of traffic for large vehicles in order to protect the road infrastructure.

- In addition to this, we simultaneously carried out crackdowns on unauthorized modifications based on the Road Transport Vehicle Act and issued a maintenance order for one offending vehicle.
- This joint crackdown was carried out by the members of the following inquiries in cooperation with related police, led by the road administrators of the three prefectures that make up this society as an initiative of the Liaison Council since last year.
