NEXCO EAST Takasaki Management Office (Takasaki city, Gunma Prefecture), in Gunma prefecture E50 We are constructing (tentative name) Ota Parking Area (PA) at Kita-Kanto Expressway (North Kanto Road).
Due to the construction work of the bridge that connects the Kita Kanto Expressway and the (tentative name) Ota PA, we will carry out night traffic closures between the Ota Yabutsuka IC and the Kiryu Ota IC on the Kita Kanto Expressway.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you can have time when you go out.
1 Night-time closed sections and periods
(1) Section
North Kanto Expressway East/West Ota Yabutsuka IC-Ota Kiryu IC (extension: approx. 10.7km)

2 Detour guide
Customers who bypass the closed section should use Prefectural Road 39 and Ota City Road 1-2, which are parallel to the Kita Kanto Road.
The time required between Ota Yabutsuka IC and Kiryu Ota IC is usually about 10 minutes, but the time required when using the detour route is about 25 minutes for both west and east, so please take time to go.
3 Construction overview
Currently, we are constructing a one-sided consolidation type (tentative name) Ota PA and a smart interchange connecting it between Ota Yabutsuka IC and Ota Kiryu IC on the Kita Kanto Expressway.
Construction will be carried out at night when traffic is light, to construct two ramp bridges for entering and exiting the main line of the Kita Kanto Expressway and the (tentative name) Ota PA parking lot. In addition, in order to minimize the impact on the roadside as well as those who use the northern Kanto road, a special large bogie will be used at the intersection with Expressway to erect each bridge together.
We ask for your understanding and cooperation so that customers can use the Expressway safely and comfortably.
4 How to obtain traffic information
(1) Information for night traffic
- Distribute posters and leaflets to nearby SA/PA, roadside stations, local governments, etc.
- A banner will be posted on the overpass of the Expressway.

5 Transfer adjustment due to suspension of traffic

How to use transit adjustment
<< ETC customers >>
- Customers using ETC are requested to run the outflow IC wirelessly and the re-inflow IC wirelessly. (No transit certificate will be issued for ETC vehicles.)
- ETC time zone discount will be applied, considering the transited journey as one.
Toll charges are adjusted at the time of billing, so they may differ from those displayed at the toll gate.
<< Customers for cash, etc. >>
- Customers who pay in cash, etc. should receive the "passage certificate" at the outflow IC, then take a pass ticket at the re-inflow IC, and then "passenger certificate" at the toll gate where the fee is paid first. Please give a pass ticket.
Precautions regarding transit fare adjustment
If the suspension of traffic is released after the outflow designated IC is released, the charges will be adjusted even if it is re-introduced at an IC (including the outflow designated IC) in the closed section.
