The entrance to the Kan-Etsu Expressway Higashimatsuyama Interchange (IC) towards Niigata, which was scheduled today from 20 pm to 6 am the next day (April 13), was closed on April 14 due to stormy weather. It was postponed at the same time of Thursday. We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
NEXCO EAST Tokorozawa Management Office (Tokorozawa, Saitama Prefecture), the pavement repair work will be carried out from April 11 (Monday) at the entrance IC to the Kan-Etsu Expressway Higashimatsuyama Interchange (IC) Out-bound line (toward Niigata). From Wednesday night, 13th (Wednesday), from 20:00 to 6:00 the next morning, the Higashimatsuyama IC Niigata area night entrance will be closed (3 nights).
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by closing the entrance at night, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

2 Detour
Kan-Etsu Expressway Out-bound If you are using the line (for Niigata), please use Route 254 and Prefectural Road 11 (Kumaya Ogawa Chichibu Line) as a detour from Arashiyama Ogawa IC. Attachment 1 [PDF: 421KB]
Kan-Etsu Expressway It usually takes about 5 minutes between Higashimatsuyama IC and Arashiyama Ogawa IC, and about 23 minutes if you take a detour from Higashimatsuyama IC on Route 254 or Prefectural Road 11. It will take about 18 minutes longer, so please take time to go out.
3 Construction overview
We will carry out pavement repair work at the Higashimatsuyama IC on the Kan-Etsu Expressway.
This work involves "peeling off the pavement and paving the pavement" as a series of operations targeting narrow roads, so it is necessary to close the entrance IC.
Therefore, in order to minimize the impact on our customers, we will close the building at night when traffic is light and carry out the work intensively and efficiently.
In addition, the ETC lane will be closed during the construction period, as construction will be near the toll booth only on the first day of construction.

4 How to obtain traffic information
(1) Information for closing the entrance
- Notice signs and posters will be posted at the Higashimatsuyama IC and the rest facilities around it.
- A banner will be posted on the overpass of the Kan-Etsu Expressway, which is an ordinary road connecting to the Higashimatsuyama IC.
- On the day of closure, a detour sign will be installed at the main intersection of the detour.
