Steel continuous synthesis girder bridge adopting a compact cross-section (Ken-O Road Kanayago Viaduct)
Professor Okui, Saitama University, was invited to the Technical Review Committee when adopting a compact cross-section design for a domestic road bridge for the first time as a rational steel bridge construction effort.
By fully utilizing the performance of steel materials, we have realized a rational structure that does not collapse suddenly due to buckling and is tenacious.
Received the 2013 Japan Steel Structure Association Special Award.
Experimental study on evaluation method of bending and shear strength of double composite I-digit
With the guidance of Prof. Okui of Saitama University, we carried out a loading experiment of a structure with double composite girder as the intermediate fulcrum of continuous composite I girder bridge, and examined the evaluation method for ultimate strength of bending strength and shear strength.
