NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office (Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture) and Trans-Tokyo Bay Highway Co. (Ota-ku, Tokyo) are Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway Umihotaru Parking Area (PA) on Thursday, August 6th. We will recruit 350 members who would like to participate in the popular "Aqualine Expedition" event to be held at "2015 Summer Festival in Umihotaru".

2 What is Aqualine Expedition

The Tokyo Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway, which crosses Tokyo Bay with a bridge and a submarine tunnel, has many construction techniques and safety measures that are not generally known.

In this year's Aqualine Expedition, we visited the steering room and captain's room of the large patrol boat "Tataki" of the Japan Coast Guard, Japan Coast Guard Headquarters, Chiba Coast Guard Department. Participate in a tour of the guest room of the special boat "Hashidate" of the Yokosuka Guard, which you cannot normally enter, and explore the backyard of the Expressway to get a closer look at the unknown aqua line. There are plenty of things you can't usually experience, such as taking a test drive of a "lift truck" with a panoramic view of Tokyo Bay.
