Since behavior indicating the breeding of goshawks has been confirmed along the line between Okegawa Kitamoto IC and Shiraoka Iris IC, construction of sections considered to affect the breeding of goshawks based on guidance and advice from experts. Has been suspended since today.

The timing for resuming construction will be determined by checking the breeding status of the northern goshawk in the future and seeking guidance from experts.

Also, regarding the opening time, we will closely examine the process, considering the future restart time of construction.

Route overview

Ken-O Road (Ken-o Expressway) is a high-standard highway with a length of about 300km planned to be located in a radius of 40km to 60km from the city center. It is Yokohama, Atsugi, Hachioji, Kawagoe, Tsukuba, Narita, It is located on the outermost side of the 3 ring roads in the metropolitan area, which connects with cities such as Kisarazu and forms a wide-area trunk road network in the metropolitan area together with Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway, Tokyo Outer Ring Road, etc. It is a ring road.
