NEXCO EAST Misato Management Office (Misato City, Saitama Prefecture) repairs the damaged pavement of the connecting passageway (lamp) in the Gaikan Expressway (Outer Ring Road) Niikura Parking Area (PA) (inside and outside) Arakura PA will be closed for construction work.
Due to the construction, you will not be able to enter or exit the Arakura PA or park your car in the PA. Please use the nearby service area and PA while it is closed.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation in order to use the Expressway safely and comfortably.

Monday, May 27, 2013, from 20:00 to 6:00 the next morning 1 night
(Preliminary days: Tuesday, May 28 and Wednesday, May 29, from 20:00 to 6:00 the next morning

- In case of stormy weather, each day may be postponed.
In the case of stormy weather, the decision to close will be made at 17:00 on the day of closing.

3 Outline of construction
The Nikura PA ramp has a step on the pavement due to subsidence. Therefore, we will carry out pavement repair work for the lamps.
Since this work involves a series of operations such as "pavement removal, pavement laying, and road marking" for areas with narrow roads, it is necessary to close the ramps.
Therefore, in order to minimize the impact on customers, we will close PAs on weekdays during the night when traffic is light, and carry out construction work intensively and efficiently. In addition, along with this closure, we will improve and expand the guide signs for parking spaces.
Main work contents
We will repair damage to the pavement and improve running performance and safety.
