NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office (Taito-ku, Tokyo) and Nexeria East Japan Tokorozawa Branch (Saitama Prefecture Tokorozawa-shi) aimed to increase chefs working at restaurants in the service area (SA) to develop menus and create unique restaurants. As part of the “Hana-making,” we will hold the “NEXCO EAST 6th New Menu Contest Tokorozawa Block Qualifying Session” with the theme of “Enjoy everyone's smile and smile everyone”.
At the Tokorozawa block qualifying event, six SA restaurants located in Saitama and Gunma prefectures on the Kan-Etsu Expressway competed for a safe and secure discerning menu with carefully selected ingredients by utilizing the network in the eastern Japan region. One of the stores selected for will challenge the final competition to be held in Tokyo next March.

6 Examination method
The work of one store that won the grand prize after a tasting examination by 7 people such as cooking researcher Yoshiharu Doi and customer representative will be exhibited at the final competition (held on March 22, 2012 (Thursday)) ..
