East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd. Group company NEXCO-Toll Kitakantou Co., Ltd. (Arakawa-ku, Tokyo, Representative director: Hiroshi Katori) It was discovered that Expressway had been fraudulently trafficked. As a result, it was discovered that one of the company's employees newly used Expressway for private use and was illegally exempted from paying part of the toll payment due to improper traffic.
NEXCO-Toll Kitakantou Co., Ltd. has disciplined and dismissed this employee as of July 15, 2010. I submitted a damage report to the Gunma Prefectural Police.
We sincerely apologize for causing a great deal of inconvenience to our customers and other parties concerned, and for causing a situation in which we lose trust.
We will continue to carry out further investigations, take strict measures when similar cases are confirmed, and take the situation of this time seriously, including group companies, and strive to prevent recurrence.
