East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd.
Utsunomiya Management Office
NEXCO EAST Utsunomiya Management Office (Kanuma City, Tochigi Prefecture, Director: Yoshihiro Tagawa) is a paved road on the exit of the Tohoku Expressway Sano Fujioka Interchange (IC) from the toll gate to Route 50 Oyama and Mito. During the nighttime construction to repair and improve the riding comfort, we will remove the pavement and restore it in places where the width of the road is narrow, so we will not be able to access the connecting road, so we will implement detour restrictions during the construction period.
We apologize for the inconvenience, and we ask for your understanding and cooperation. When you go out, please allow yourself some time.
1 Construction section and date and time
- section
Tohoku Expressway Sano Fujioka IC toll gate is leaked, the outflow route to Route 50 Oyama and Mito - Date and time
Period: Monday, November 10, 2008-Friday, November 14, 2008
Time: Every night from 20:00 to 6:00 the next morning (10 hours)
- Due to stormy weather, the date when the detour regulation ends may change.
2 Detour
Customers heading for Oyama and Mito, after flowing out of the Sano Fujioka Toll Gate, join the Route 50 on the left (Sano, Maebashi) exit road, go straight, and turn left toward a side road about 1.8 km ahead. After the spill, take a U-turn at the Takahagi intersection where national highway No. 50 and prefectural highway No. 9 cross over (prefectural highway intersects below) and proceed toward Mito. During detour regulations, a detour signboard is installed on the shoulder side (sidewalk side) of National Route 50.
3 Construction overview
Since its service in 1972, we will carry out refresh work on the pavement of the outflow road that has been damaged by traffic for about 36 years. Since this work involves a series of operations such as "pavement removal, pavement restoration, and road marking" on an outflow road with a narrow road width, it is necessary to close the outflow road.
Therefore, in order to minimize the impact on our customers, we have selected nighttime hours on weekdays when traffic is low.
