With the cooperation of many people, Sokan (Chiba Prefecture section) was able to acquire about 88% of the business site (as of the end of September 2005). However, construction work has been started in some areas, but there are still some areas of land where cooperation cannot be obtained, and it still takes time to open all lines.

It is feared that if the opening of the Gakan (Chiba prefecture section) is delayed, there will be disadvantages such as traffic accidents and economic losses in the Ichikawa and Matsudo areas.

Under such circumstances, the mayor of Ichikawa and the mayor of Matsudo should clarify the situation of the business, and actively listen to and utilize the opinions and wisdom of local and private companies regarding measures for smooth promotion. In response to a strong request, we decided to set up an “intellectual gathering for the Chiba Prefecture Sotokan section”.
