NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office (Atsubetsu-ku, Sapporo) will hold the "Hokkaido Highway Show Area® 2023 in Usuzan SA" on September 16th (Sat) and 17th (Sun) from 10:00 to 16:00 (on the 17th 15:00) will be held at the E5 Do-O Expressway (Hokkaido Expressway) Mt. Usu Service Area (SA) (In-bound line, towards Hakodate)
At the venue, 11 groups will introduce the charm of the region, such as selling local gourmet and special products such as Muroran City's "Muroran Yakitori" and Mukawa Town's "Mukawa Wagyu Beef". In addition to the lottery where you can win local souvenirs, customers who purchase 500 yen or more including tax at the event booth or SA shop can challenge "sweets scooping".
"Hokkaido Highway Show Area®" is an event that conveys the charm of the region from rest facilities. As part of the promotion of tourism in Hokkaido, it has been held every year since 2013, attracting many visitors.

(2) Present plan for visitors
During the event, we will give away balloons to the first 100 people on both days. In addition, we will distribute participation tickets for "sweets scooping" that customers who make purchases of 500 yen or more including tax at shops and event booths at In-bound Please note that it will end as soon as the sweets are gone.

(3) Cooperation with Hokkaido
"Hokkaido Highway Show Area® 2023" is being implemented in cooperation with Hokkaido based on the comprehensive partnership agreement concluded in 2015.
The Ususan SA venue is jointly held with the Hokkaido Iburi General Promotion Bureau. At the venue, Iburi ONE-Jr., the character of the Iburi General Promotion Bureau, will also appear, as well as tourist information, a panel exhibition to support the recovery of Eastern Iburi, and distribution of pamphlets.
NEXCO EAST will continue to position the service area and parking area as "regional show windows" and actively publicize attractive tourism resources in various parts of Hokkaido while cooperating with the region to develop initiatives that contribute to regional development. I will continue.
The NEXCO EAST Group positions the period from 2021 to 2025 as ``a period to contribute to the achievement of the SDGs and transform toward a new future society'' and is engaged in various initiatives.
We believe that the implementation of the "Hokkaido Highway Show Area" this time will contribute to SDGs 8 and 17 as business activities that promote sustainable tourism and revitalize local communities.
NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office is a collaborative project between Hokkaido and the Hokkaido Tourism Promotion Organization with the aim of supporting the tourism industry in various parts of Hokkaido that was hit by the Large of the new coronavirus infection and recovering tourism demand. I am participating in a certain "HOKKAIDO LOVE! Project".
As a collaboration between "HOKKAI DO LOVE!" And NEXCO EAST, we have colored our corporate color, NEXCO Green. Based on the philosophy of this project, we will make efforts to enliven the tourism of our beloved Hokkaido.
