NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office (Atsubetsu-ku, Sapporo) will hold the "Hokkaido Highway Show Area® 2023 in Sunagawa SA" on July 17 (Monday / Holiday) from 11:00 to 17:00 E5 Do-O Expressway (Hokkaido Expressway) Sunagawa It will be held in the service area (SA) (In-bound line/Sapporo area).
At the venue, four groups will sell local gourmet foods such as scallops from Rumoi City and gibier from Engaru Town, as well as specialty products. In addition to a raffle where you can win local souvenirs, there will also be a family-friendly booth where you can wear a traffic control uniform for children and take pictures with patrol cars.
"Hokkaido Highway Show Area®" is an event that conveys the charm of the region from rest facilities. As part of the promotion of tourism in Hokkaido, it has been held every year since 2013, attracting many visitors.

2. "Working vehicle" exhibition
   With the cooperation of the Hokkaido Police and the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF), police cars (3 units) will be exhibited. In addition, there is a corner where you can wear a traffic control uniform for children and take pictures, and you can get a "child safety license" issued by JAF.
3. Present plan for visitors
   During the event, we will give away balloons to the first 150 people. In addition, for customers who have made purchases of 500 yen or more including tax at shops and event booths in Sunagawa SA (In-bound line/Sapporo area), flower seedlings will be given to the first 300 customers, and limited quantities for children. I will give you a stag beetle.
4. In-venue quiz rally and “Hokkaido Everyone’s Day” PR
   

   If you answer a quiz about the Hokkaido Smartphone Stamp Rally, which is an initiative of NEXCO EAST, or the exhibiting group at Highway ShowArea, you can participate in a lottery where you can win prizes.
   In addition, July 17, the date of the event, is “Hokkaido Minna no Hi” (nicknamed “Domin no Hi”), which is “a day to reconsider the value of Hokkaido and think about the future of Hokkaido”. Therefore, we will tie up with the Hokkaido Government and distribute "Michimin's Day" novelties to those who participate in the quiz rally.

   
5. Implementation of a traffic safety campaign
   From 11:00 to 17:00, the "Traffic Safety Campaign" will be held jointly with the Hokkaido Police. Traffic safety enlightenment and novelty distribution will be held at the venue.
