NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office Office (Atsubetsu-ku, Sapporo City) will try to add points in the performance evaluation at the time of construction success for construction that tackles carbon neutrality. Through this initiative, in order to realize "zero carbon Hokkaido (* 1)", we will cooperate with the Hokkaido Regional Development Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Hokkaido, Sapporo City, and the Japan Railway Construction, Transport and Technology Agency, and will conduct a Hokkaido infrastructure zero carbon trial. By implementing the construction, we will work to foster and promote the momentum for decarbonization in the construction industry in Hokkaido.

1. Trial target construction

Construction to be announced after January 1, 2023 (contracted construction can also be carried out through consultation)

2. Method of public notice

Clearly state that this is a trial construction project in the tender notice and special specifications

3. Handling after contract

Contractors who agree with the initiative clearly state the details of the initiative in the construction plan, etc. to be submitted.

Four. Confirmation of implementation and addition of points to performance evaluation of construction work

If it is possible to confirm the implementation of the efforts described in the submitted construction plan, etc., points will be added in the performance evaluation at the time of successful construction.

Five. Assumed activities

Use of solar panels, use of construction machinery that meets fuel efficiency standards, use of biofuel, etc.
