　NEXCO東日本北海道支社（札幌市厚別区）は、秋の全国交通安全運動期間中（9月21日（火）～30日（木））に、交通安全キャンペーン「#あなたの安全運転応援し隊」キャンペーンを実施します。本キャンペーンでは、北海道警察（道警）の協力のもと制作した交通安全動画をTwitter上で発信し、交通安全を呼びかけます。
　また、期間中、全道のサービスエリア・パーキングエリア（SA・PA）やインターチェンジ（IC）入口で、横断幕や旗を掲げた街頭啓発も実施します。
　コロナ禍でも「新しい生活様式」を実践しつつ、引き続き交通安全を呼びかけていきます。

1. Turn on the lights early at dusk!

   In autumn, the number of traffic accidents caused by inattention at dusk increases compared to summer (Fig. 1). Turn on your headlights early to prevent accidents.
   In principle, the headlights should be upward (high beam) on Expressway. The irradiation range is more than doubled between low beam and high beam. Switch the lights frequently and drive safely at night.

   
2. Prevention of motorcycle accidents!
   

   　夏から秋にかけてのバイクシーズン中は、バイクでのハンドル操作不適当による事故が増加します（図2）。
   　バイクに乗っていると直接風を受けるため、とても疲れやすくなります。こまめに休憩をとり、無理な追い越しなどはせず、安全な運転を心がけましょう！

   Expressway is about 20 times higher than that of wearers (according to the National Police Agency).
