Hokkaido office
NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Branch Office will undertake large-scale blackouts due to the 2018 Hokkaido Eastern Earthquake earthquake, and will work to reduce the lighting of tunnel lighting, service areas and parking areas, and thoroughly save electricity at NEXCO EAST Building.
In addition, we apologize for any inconvenience caused in the service area and parking area, but we ask for your cooperation in understanding the purpose of the power saving efforts.
Specific efforts to save electricity
- Tunnel lighting
In all the tunnels (55 places), the entrance of the tunnel is normally brightly lit, but it is turned off as far as safe driving is possible. - Road information board
All road information boards (360 sides) will be turned off except when emergency information such as road closures and accident information is provided. - Service area / parking area
We will thin out lighting in stores and employee spaces, set energy-saving air conditioning, stop air towels in the toilet, and set the toilet seat temperature to the minimum. - NEXCO EAST Group Office
Based on the "Request for Power Saving" from the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy, we will thoroughly reduce the lighting of the company building, frequently turn off the lights, and turn off the power of electronic devices.
