NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office (Atsubetsu Ward, Sapporo City) provides local attractions such as tourist information, special products, gourmet foods, etc. from the Expressway service area (SA) and parking area (PA) during the summer tourist season in Hokkaido. The event "Hokkaido Highway Show Area 2018" will be held.
A total of 37 regions and groups will participate, including 6 General Promotion Bureaus and Promotion Bureaus, at 5 locations, including the Tokachiheigen SA, which will be held for the first time. We will inform you more about each event as soon as it is ready.
"Hokkaido Highway Show Area 2018" will be implemented in cooperation with Hokkaido based on the comprehensive cooperation agreement signed with Hokkaido. ( Attachment [PDF: 87KB] reference)
In the future, NEXCO EAST will continue to develop SA and PA as "regional show windows" by actively promoting attractive tourist resources in various regions of Hokkaido and contributing to regional promotion in cooperation with the region.

2 Implementation contents
- Sales of local gourmet and local products using local ingredients
- A panel exhibition to learn the history of Hokkaido 150 years and Expressway
