4 Construction overview
Takaoka Bridge located between Tomakomai West IC and Tomakomai East IC of Hokkaido Expressway, about 38 years have passed since the opening of Showa in 1955, and micro cracks that occurred due to an increase in wheel load due to vehicle size enlargement, Because the deterioration of the concrete floor slabs and rust occurred in the reinforcing bars due to the salt caused by the antifreezing agent spraying, it is necessary to replace the deck slab.
In order to replace the concrete floor slab of the bridge, it is necessary to close the Out-bound line (for Sapporo), but one of the two lanes for the In-bound line (for Muroran) should be closed for the Out-bound line (for Sapporo). By carrying out transfer and face-to-face traffic, construction will be carried out with minimal impact on traffic.
Main work contents
By replacing the deteriorated existing concrete slab with a new slab, it will be reborn as an Expressway that can be used safely and comfortably.
