NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office (Atsubetsu Ward, Sapporo City) jointly with related organizations such as Hokkaido Police and Hokkaido Expressway Traffic Safety Council during the spring national traffic safety campaign period (April 6 to 15). We will be holding a "Road Safety Campaign".
Be careful not to overshoot 1 speed!
The long winter in Hokkaido is over and the weather is good in early spring. Excessive speed can lead to slip accidents and lane departure accidents. Also, if the speed doubles, the impact force will quadruple and the fatality rate will increase, leading to a serious accident.
2 Road safety campaign contents
Aiming to reduce the number of accidents at Expressway, speed up, prevent drowsy driving, and prevent accidents outside the vehicle on Expressway with traffic safety awareness leaflets, and use road flags and other road safety Raise awareness.
In addition, on April 8 Waatsu Parking Area (Sapporo direction) Will carry out a "free tire inspection" by the Japan Automobile Tire Manufacturers Association.
Check the proper tire pressure and groove depth, and experience how to prevent accidents such as punctures and what to do in the event of an accident or failure.
