From February 13, 2013, NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office (Atsubetsu Ward, Sapporo City) will carry out the tunnel simultaneous inspection based on the instruction from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism about the simultaneous inspection of road accessories in the tunnel. Please be advised that some sections will be closed at night until 28th.

1 Target of simultaneous inspection
We will inspect the road accessories such as lights and signs installed in the tunnel.
2 Inspection method
For inspection, check the presence or absence of damage or abnormalities in the road attachments by focusing on the attachment part to the tunnel body, checking the anchor bolts, nuts, joints, etc. by close visual inspection, tapping, and palpation.
3 Date and time of suspension of traffic (inspection)
The schedule for nighttime closures due to the inspection is as follows. All traffic From 20:00 to 6:00 the next morning Will be carried out. The inspection will be carried out even if the road is closed due to snow.
